"The Gluten Glitch" Children's Book - It's a Giveway!

YES, it's a GIVEAWAY! The Gluten Glitch is a must have for your gluten-free kiddo! Stasie John wrote a fabulous book! It's perfect to read to your child when he or she is feeling down about having to live a gluten-free lifestyle.  Although gluten intolerance and celiac disease are different conditions, this book can be comforting to all children who are on a gluten-free diet and who always have to eat differently.

After Gideon's whole class gets special cupcakes shaped like farm animals while he has to eat one of his "safe" gluten-free cupcakes, Gideon feels fed-up with eating only gluten-free. Even with all the delicious gluten-free choices, eating differently is hard, and sometimes Gideon just wants the treats the other kids get to have.

Having to eat differently as a young child can be confusing for our children as well as frustrating. They may forget why they can't eat gluten because they haven't had symptoms in so long due to their gluten-free diet.

It's important to remind our children that eating gluten-free keeps them from having belly aches, itchy skin, headaches, fatigue and causing damage to their body. 

The best thing we can do for our kiddos is to remind them of ALL the things they can eat and to have a special night like Gideon has with his family - TACO NIGHT! Making sure our gluten-free children feel included always at home is very important.
