My Jack - Celiac Disease Advocate in the Making

Kindergarten has come to an end...boohoo! My sweet Jack had a wonderful first year at school and I couldn't be more proud of him.

He found his rhythm, and before we knew it, we were getting good reports from Mrs. Adams on a daily basis.

Today, was the end-of-the-year Awards. I wasn't sure what Jack's award was going to be - Class Clown, Most Improved...but I wasn't expecting the award he received!

Jack received the:

    "Rainbow Writer Award"

Check out what his teacher, Mrs. Adams had to say about Jack. This couldn't be more fitting for Celiac Awareness Month.

I can't wait to see what Jack becomes when he grows up. Maybe he'll follow in my footsteps, but I think he's going to shine bright no matter what he does. I'm so proud of you Jack! It's one of those moments, where I had to hold back my tears. I guess I just wasn't expecting it from my sweet 6 yr. old.
