Gluten-Free Sweet and Tangy Shrimp with San-J

I've been wanting to make a shrimp dish for some time now and I FINALLY made it! I've used San-J's sauces numerous times, teriyaki sauce, asian BBQ, soy sauce, but this was my first time using San-J's Sweet and Tangy Polynesian Sauce.

San-J has a variety of gluten-free cooking sauces that are full of flavor! You don't have to miss out on Asian cuisine because San-J has you covered!  San-J products are not only gluten-free, but now verified NON-GMO, so let's get cooking!

This shrimp dish turned out fabulous and I'm excited to share with you how easy it is to make.

Sweet and Tangy Shrimp

Ingredients:

1 1/2 C. White Rice
(I used Lundberg Organic Basmati Rice)

1 lb. Thawed Uncooked Shrimp or Fresh Shrimp - Peeled and Deveined

Veggies (frozen or unfrozen) - Red Pepper, Carrots and Red Onion

1 TBSP of Olive Oil

Super EASY Directions:

Step 1:

Saute' veggies in olive oil over medium heat. Cook until the veggies are tender, but still crisp. Then add uncooked shrimp to veggies.

Step 2:

Cook Shrimp for 7 minutes or until the shrimp becomes firm and pink in color.

Step 3:

Add San-J's Sweet and Tangy Sauce. I say 1/3 to 1/4 C. depending on your desired taste.

Step 4:

Serve over rice & ENJOY! A super easy shrimp dish to satisfy your taste buds.

Now, does that look scrumptious or what?! Give this delicious San-J Sweet and Tangy sauce a try and I promise you'll be happy you did! Additional recipes can be found at san-j.com.  And don't forget to try their other sauces - like San-J's Teriyaki sauce, to make a simple, delicious chicken stir-fry which is one of our personal favorites.

Disclosure: Although this blog post is sponsored by San-J, all opinions are         my own.

  1. I signed up to get samples from them on one of those gluten free expos online sites, and they sent me like 4 full sized bottles of sauces. I'm sure I have the one you used for this recipe! I thought that was very generous of the company to pay to ship me so many full-sized bottles as samples.
